Support Request: Automatic program patcher
Reproduction
See the description. We use Polish Windows XP Pro with all current updates.
When you activate Program Patcher (Maintenance->Activate automatic program patcher checkbox - on by default)
for some of our terminals it requires a user to confirm terminal reset after all system scheduled restarts.
Since this is considered as an unnnecessary burden for our customers we tried to get rid of this problem by:
- turning the patcher off,
- scheduling restarts sparser (once a week)
- disabling restarts (which is not good for Windows XP).
In each case SiteKiosk seems to continue some part of the automatic program patcher functionality
and after a couple of days resumes the requirement for a user to confirm system resets.
