Hello,

the tool SiteKiosk Control from this page https://www.provisio.com/en-GB/Downloads/DownloadToolsDrivers.aspx is a command line tool to end SiteKiosk when using the quit parameter. Note that the tool must be executed under the same user SiteKiosk runs under at the time.

The best option to remotely control SiteKiosk terminals is SiteRemote (https://www.provisio.com/web/uk/products/kiosk-remote-management-siteremote). It includes a job system that also allows you to control SiteKiosk.

Hello,

Thank you very much for your answer, however the "SiteKioskCtrl" executable does not work!
Do you have an example or a setting already tested to simulate the Sitekiosk shutdown?

Hello,

the SiteKioskCtrl.exe is tested and there is no known issue.

With
SiteKioskCtrl.exe quit
you can close the SiteKiosk browser

The sitekioskctrl.exe must be executed within the same user account the SiteKiosk browser is started with.
For testing you may go to the Admin account, open the SiteKiosk configuration disable the option “Block system critical windows & dialog boxes” (don’t forget to enable it again later) and open the command line before you start SiteKiosk in “Start once” mode (starts SiteKiosk within the Admin account).
Then you just can enter SiteKioskCtrl.exe quit

But as stated the best option to remotely control SiteKiosk terminals is SiteRemote (https://www.provisio.com/web/uk/products/kiosk-remote-management-siteremote).
It includes a job system that also allows you to control SiteKiosk (e.g. to exit SiteKiosk or to logout the Windows user with closing SiteKiosk properly).
