Hello,

SiteKiosk does use the Internet Explorer Webbrowser Control of the installed Internet Explorer
Not all Plug-ins for IE will work in IE Webbrowser Control. What usually works are ActiveX Plug-Ins like Adobe Flash, Adobe PDF Reader or Java. But Plug-Ins specially designed for Internet Explorer can’t work,

You should ask the developer of the adblocker if their PlugIn generally work in IE Webbrowser Control.

You can also test it outside of SiteKiosk directly in the IE Webbrowser Control.
Here a PDF with further descriptions and a link to a Webbrowser Control test application:

Hello,

This is no bug and there is nothing to fix. Like noted above this Ad blocker Plug-in can’t work in SiteKiosk (IE Webbrowser Control) as it is designed for Internet Explorer.

What you can use is the integrated PopUp blocker from IE (by default activated in the SiteKiosk configuration at -->Startpage & Browser-->Advanced).

Otherwise you may uninstall Adobe Flash (as most of the advertisement implementations are composed with Adobe Flash).

THank You very much, I will try your solutions but for the the integrated PopUp blocker from IE ( advenced) I have ( only with XP service pack 2 ) it would be nice to use it with actual Windows versions ....

Hello,

The PopUp blocker also works with current Windows versions (-->requires Windows XP Service Pack 2 or higher).
