Support Request: Update and Plugin

Hello, I am on an old version of SiteKiosk and I need to know if I can update it without being charged, and if there's a cost how much that would be.

Also, we have a tool called Okta that requires an internet plugin. This is a mandatory application for us that will determine if we continue using SiteKiosk or have to find another solution. Is there a way for me to get the Okta plugin to work in SiteKiosk for our users?

Thank you for your inquiry. There are no free updates available unless your license is less than a year old. Generally, the update cost is $89 per copy, if you chose not to renew with an annual maintenance plan. You can reach out to our Sales Team for more information.

Regarding the Okta Plugin, there is no special support for this tool (or any other) in SiteKiosk. According to their website, it does have support for IE browsers. You can review the browser plugin settings for each user. This will not work for our Chrome Browser Skin. You are welcomed to check it before purchasing the SiteKiosk update.

Alternatively, you could use our SiteKiosk Object Model for an automated website login script:
(Articles posted in our Developer's Blog posts are considered as-is and further support is not provided.)

Or you could use a domain account for Auto Start and use SSO for automated logins (further support not provided).

Please mention a demo license when you are ready to test for plugins as the settings are user dependent. You will not be able to make changes to the restricted user account with an unregistered copy of SiteKiosk.

Are you saying that I can't add Okta Plugin for SiteKiosk?

If you aren't saying that, is there a document for instructions on how to add browser plugin's within SiteKiosk, or is there a way I can get on a support call for a bit to see if they have a solution?

SiteKiosk uses browser engines not full browsers like Chrome, Firefox or Edge. With the IE engine you can use plugins but this setting is not found in SiteKiosk but IE in Windows itself. There is no guarantee it will work. You are welcomed to call support at +1 (305) 974-1952 M-F 9am-5pm ET.
