Support Request: Start Screen fails to Start


Windows 10 Pro Version 1909, ran all current windows updates, upgraded sitekiosk from 9.6 to 9.8 and updated config file per prompts. Start Screen with icons will not start and only comes up to a blank screen. If I switch to browser startup page under chrome browser it works. Attached is the configuration files.

Thank you for your inquiry. There is no known issue on this matter. Could you send the following items for testing with reference to this post at support-america(at)

- The SiteKiosk configuration (…\SiteKiosk\Config\YourConfig.skcfg)
- A current log file with the information at which time the problem occurred (…\SiteKiosk\Logfiles\yyyy-mm-dd.txt)
- A ZIP of the file “SiteKioskNG.log” from the folder “C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Temp”
[user name] = Windows user you started SiteKiosk within. When using Auto Start, it is the "SiteKioskNG.log" under "C:\Users\SiteKiosk\AppData\Local\Temp"
- A ZIP of the folder “content” at “C:\Users\Public\SiteKiosk” (contains the start screen you configured)
- A short step by step reproduction guide

Alternatively, you could uninstall SiteKiosk, delete the "content" folder and install SiteKiosk again to have a fresh new Start Screen.
