Support Request: change default tablet browser sitekiosk android using

Description

Hi,

I understood that sitekiosk android using the tablet browser, so I am wondering if it is possible to change this default browser that used by sitekiosk?

Problem background:

I had problem with window pop up whenever we load a website, so I tried to open the same website with Safari browser on my iPad and the window didn't pop up anymore.

Note: I already activated pop-up blocking on sitekiosk android.

SiteKiosk uses the default browser of your Android tablet. Please note that SiteKiosk is only supported on Android and Windows devices... The Ipad or IOS platform is not supported.

Hi,

It is really strange cos I tried to open the website (that I have window pop-up problem with it in sitekiosk) with the two browsers installed in my android tablet, and no window poped-up! the window only pop-up when I run the website in sitekiosk. Any suggestions please?

Hi,

SiteKiosk uses the browser which is part of the android operating system. Other browser you install on the same system may use this also, but they often bring in their own browser engine. So it is a difference between those browsers which can cause different behaviour.

To go into details, please provide your URL which causes this behaviour and check if there is a difference in the behaviour betwenn Androids standard browser on your device and SiteKiosk.
