Support Request: SMBCkient errors

Description

After moving the SRS server (site remote server) to the DMZ, it complains bitterly that a connection cannot be made to the SQL server SQLFish using a winsock connection on port 445 (file sharing SMB over TCP) - this port is chosen because NetBT is disabled on the SRS server.
I don’t know why SRS is making this request to a SQL server, but I have a feeling it is part of the application.

Hi,

obviously you installed an configured SiteRemote Server in a customized way to use an external MS-SQL Server. Please assure that this server is still reachable for SiteRemote Server, whereever it is located in your network. For further details on installing SiteRemote Server, please see http://provisio.com/en-US/Downloads/DownloadInfo.aspx?ItemId=178
