Support Request: Login to PowerBI fails
Our kiosk system worked normally until about 23.1.2020 when it started to give to Azure AD logs this error message: "Sign-in error code 50058
Failure reason: The application tried to perform a silent sign in and the user could not be silently signed in. The application needs to start an interactive flow giving users an option to sign in. Contact app owner. "
This happens when a link to Power BI (
https://app.powerbi.com/groups/me/apps/..... ) is opened from the app that Provisio kiosk software is protecting. When the kiosk software is closed and I try to open it manually from the same app and the same user and the same machine the link opens just fine, so the Kiosk software is somehow stopping this.
From web we found that one suggested fix for a similar error message was whitelisting, so I added to Kiosk whitelist the following addresses:
https://login.microsoftonline.com and https://*.powerbi.com but those didn't help.
We're using Chrome browser and Windows 10. The app containing powerbi-link hasn't changed in three months and the team managing our network says that nothing in their side has changed during January.
All ideas what else I could try are very much appreciated!
